The Beatrix Farrand Garden at the Bellefield Mansion is on the property of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site. As you enter from Route 9, follow the signs to the main parking lot at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center. You can get to the Garden by following the signs through the Wallace Visitor Center and out the back door. Then follow the path to the west gate of the garden. The garden is enclosed by hemlock hedges and stone walls, but the gates are unlocked.
Those who require handicap parking may park in the parking area at the Bellefield Mansion – the yellow building that you see as you drive in. Handicap accessible entrances are on the north side of the terrace or through the garden gate on the east side of the garden.
Our garden is open 7am to dusk every day and there is no entrance fee.
